FAQ
You have any questions?
We got you covered!
Can I come and visit the dance education?
Yes, just write us an e-mail and we will arrange for you to visit the education.
Can you get a visa for Denmark to study at our education program?
EU & Scandinavian country passport holders should have no problem moving to Denmark.
If you do not have an EU or Scandinavian passport and are applying from a country outside
the EU, then due to us not being a government education, then unfortunately at present
normal visa rules apply. It is however possible to apply for a 90 days Schengen travel visa,
and we can make special provisions for a shorter participation period at the education.
Can you stop in the middle of the dance education?
A student can stop at the education by giving notice in writing at least 14 days before the 1st
of the month in which the student wishes to stop. There is a cancellation fee of 40% of each
remaining instalment which has to be paid the 1st of each month.
Do you help with housing if you don't live in Copenhagen?
Unfortunately, we do not have any dorms, however we do help finding accommodation. All
students have always found accommodation with our help. We spread the word amongst our
network and add you to Internet groups for accommodation in Copenhagen, where we will
be helping you to look for accommodation options.
How do you get admitted to the dance education?
Applicants must have dance experience, but not in a particular style.
You apply online through our website by filling out the application form and sending a video
of min. 1 minute of you dancing.
For the video, do not attach it in an email as videos are often too large in file size, and we
risk not receiving the email due to it exceeding the permitted email file size. Send it via eg
wetransfer.com and send us the download link.
When we get your application, it will go through a selection round and you will then get a
reply from us within a period of 2 weeks.
How does the schedule look like on the education?
How long does the dance education last?
The education program is from end of August to mid June.
How old do you have to be to apply/join the dance education?
16 years – 30 years, but there are exceptions. We have had students 15 years of age and
others in their mid 30s.
Is attendance mandatory?
The education is a professional, intense full-time education 09.00-15.00 Monday to Friday.
We follow the Danish school systems holiday schedule, but apart from the holidays students
have mandatory attendance at the education, and are expected to follow the classes full-
time. Students have access to all our evening school classes as well at no extra charge, but
participation at evening school classes are not mandatory.
Is the dance education SU eligible (Danish Student State support)?
We are a privately owned dance education and not part of the governments education
system. This means we do not get government support and SU is not granted. However,
each year we have had students request for an official letter from us stating their
participation at our education program. Many have used this letter to apply for funding from
their own country. This you would have to research and apply for in your own country –
transport funds, mobility funds, arts funds etc.
What payment options do I have?
When you get admitted to the program, we offer 2 payment options:
A: INSTALLMENTS
You pay a down payment of 9.000 DKK.
1.000 DKK is paid when returning the contract.
